How Should I Use This Anti-Pimple Treatment?

(A) Do you know what the USP of this Mask is? Think. Couldn’t guess?

Alright, spilling the beans to you now – You can use this Anti-Pimple Face Pack mixed with curd without following an elaborate set of steps.

That being said, don’t simply slap it on your face or neck the minute you end up making it.

At least, splash your face with cold water for 2 mins non-stop. Once you are awake, apply this face pack all over your face and neck.

Wait for 20 mins. Wash it off while scrubbing gently.

Follow up with another face pack – Anuhya Sunni Pindi mixed in curd (Buy HERE) for 20 mins. Once 25 mins end, wash it off and tone using Zofla’s rose water (Buy HERE).

OR

(B) Follow this elaborate but more effective skin care regimen. Can’t help it but I can’t do without long skin care rituals.

Step 1 – Cleansing (20 mins)

Pick up THIS cleanser and use as directed.

Step 2 – Masking (20 mins)

And here comes you Anti-pimple Face Pack into the picture. Apply lavishly all over your face and neck.

Step 3 – Toning (2 mins)

Spray chilled Zofla rose water all over your face and neck. Keep your eyes shut tightly.

Step 4 – Moisturize (5 mins)

Since there is an absence of lightweight, non-greasy and All Natural moisturizers for oily skin in India (as per my limited observation), I suggest you rely upon organic face serums to moisturize your skin.

Moderation is the key. Don’t pour your serums on your face as if it’s for free!

Raw Rituals Sublime Face Serum (Buy HERE) is quite effective a moisturizer. 5 drops is the upper limit.

To all the DIY freaks, THIS is the serum that you need to concoct.

Whichever serum you zero in on, remember – You need to use only a few drops of it. Your skin is oily. It needs moisture but not a flurry of it. Massage for 4-5 mins (you’ll love Face Yoga).

Not only will it help you get all the oil inside your skin but also impart a younger, clearer and suppler skin tone.

REMEMBERYou need to do this entire regimen – follow (A) or (B) religiously for at least a month if your face is attacked by an army of pimples.

If there are just a few pimples waiting for you to go lax and spread uncontrollably, following this regimen for 2 weeks will be sufficient.

  1. If you consider plum natural enough, I think they’re semi natural, certainly have more clean ingredients than others on the market ;then their green tea moisturizer is good. No faltu fragrance.
On the other hand, you can diy one with aloevera gel+almond oil+Grape seed+jojoba oil+calendula mother tincture (homeopathic) + ginseng mother tincture (homeopathic) {ginseng smells strong, so you can eliminate it if you wish)

      • Shayri, Plum is definitely Natural but the point which unsettles me is that they claim their products to be free from only 3 things – parabens, SLS and phthalates (artificial fragrance)

Besides these, there is a long list of chemicals that should make their way out of skin care products.

Certainly, Plum is clean but it’s comparatively clean, yaar.

My ‘kind of products’ are those which are powdered because there’s hardly any scope to introduce chemicals or even preservatives in them. The most common reason why brands add nasties is to prolong the shelf life of their products.

Back home, a simple mix of besan, haldi, rose petals powder and Neem lasts months. So, there’s no need to add anything to elongate its longevity. That’s why, I stick to stuff that’s powdered.

Furthermore, I think that if 5-6 products are sufficient for my skin and hair care, then why buy more – Kuber ke khazaane ko takkar deni hai kya? 😛

Coming to the DIY, what’s its propose as in where should I use it on – facial skin? And I’m ready to brave ginseng’s smell 😉
