Best Face Serum To Brighten Skin And Fade Dark Spots

Admittedly, some work.

Some disappoint. Some disappoint gravely.

For a change…

If you roll up your sleeves, storm into the kitchen and whip your own skin treats, someone’s skin care game will be upped (and bettered!)

My 2 Cents

(A) How to use the Best Face Serum To Brighten Skin And Fade Dark Spots

  • Cleanse – Use this 100% Natural Homemade Cleanser every night for 25 minutes.
  • Mask – Use either of these face packs based on your skin’s needs. If you have extremely dry & dull skin, this should be your pick. For pimple-prone skin, this is a saviour.

OR

Pick any Mask from this compilation.

I agree, they are all Herbal Bath Powders but they are safe for use on face.

I have them used them on my face for months.

That’s the beauty of Ayurveda!

  • Tone – Use Zofla’s rose water (Buy here
  • Apply the serum – Once the toner sinks in your skin (it will take merely 30 seconds), dab 5-6 drops of the Homemade serum on your face and neck. Massage in upwards directions.
  • Call it a day! – Give a wide berth to the distracting mistress called mobile. Seep like a baby.

Before we wind up…

You may have some queries regarding my Best Face Serum?

Answering them here and how!

  • Use this Serum for 2 months every night non-stop.
  • This serum suits dry, extremely dry and normal skin. Avocado oil is heavy. Hence, use of this serum by acne-prone oily skin would be unwise.
  • Both men and woman can use it.
  • You can add more essential oils like tea tree (Buy here) if you have pimples, acne or blemishes to enhance the effectiveness of this serum.

And that’s all for today!

My go-to elixir – Best Face Serum To Brighten Skin And Fade Dark Spots is stuff to write home about.

Want to place a bet?

So, when are you trying this serum?

  1. I’m hooked to your diy’s Nidhal. gonna try this one..one thing am little apprehensive about right now is, I’m a 9month preggie and baby will there in few weeks..is it safe to use when Baby is around..I mean the smell..advise!
Btw I’m already committed to your hair oil blend, nourshing hair mask with mango and rosemary rinse..

    1. Hey Sudha

Thanks a lot! Guess I’m successful to an extent in propelling people towards Naturalism.

I’d suggest for now please avoid essential oils. There’s no measure for “how strong it is”

A few months post delivery, you can start with experimenting with EOs. For now, rely on herbal bath powders and cold pressed oils only for skin care. That’s safe.

      1. Thanks Nidhal for responding.
Shall I stop the rosemary rinse and hair oil as well( jojoba+apricot+geranium)
        But I like them

        1. Rosemary hair rinse is perfectly safe, Sudha. We are making that out of dried rosemary sprigs.

Coming to the hair oil blend, I’d suggest till your pregnancy + 6 months after delivery, stop using essential oils.

There are a gazillion bodily changes happening during this time. Essential oils are strong and only when a trained aromatherapist green lights its exact percentage for dilution in your oil blends should we lose our guard 🙂

    1. Stick to using it only at night, Archana. My reason as to why –

      1) You may be living in India (I assume) and it’ll only get hotter as the days roll by. You’ll get fried if you walk around with an oil based serum on your face when it is scorching hot outside.

      2) This serum doesn’t provide sun protection.

      3) Oil on face + Venturing outside + Sun shining + Pollution + Dusty environment = Skin becomes a magnet for every rubbish.

      4) It contains Avocado oil which is most suitable for dry skin.

Because of these reasons, chuck the idea of using it in the day time.

    1. Keeping in mind Sun God’s mood these days (it’s 45 degrees at my place!), I would advise you against using any oil for now, Deepika 😅

Don’t. Just don’t. Your facial skin will revolt with a flurry of pimples.

When to try then? When the temperature is low enough for normal humans to bear.

    1. Thanks, Anamika. Fun fact – I’m going to post some more DIY oil-based recipes soon so, it’s not that these oils which I have used in this recipe will be limited to just this recipe.

Their uses will be explored more 😉
